FEBRUARY SCRIPTURE:
Isaiah 52:7 | NIV
"How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, Your God Reigns!"
Of all the news, information, and gossip people transport, the one who carries conversations about Jesus is the beautiful messenger.
NOVEMBER PRAYER:
This month, let us pray for control over our tongues and to have hearts of witnessing, to build Christ's reputation, to become the friend He has required us to be, to construct and to build healthy relationships with our tongues, to connect with and to unite Christians, to speak positively and to avoid harmful, useless, deadly, negative gossip. Let us spread the fruit that causes humanity to flourish.
There are a lot of things that our mouths produce that can be harmful. And to make matters worse, we are a people who flock towards gossip - intentionally - whether we admit or not, with a perversion fascination. But when it comes to spreading news about Christ, news a
bout our spiritual encounters, and news about being saved, we want to place stipulations, and excuses - by all means - to justify why religious conversations aren't acceptable topics in topical atmospheres.
There must be an evident and intentional attitude about spreading the good news.
FEBRUARY THEME:
Let us carry infectious, contagious conversations about Christ
Do you spread gossip over witnessing?
