DECEMBER SCRIPTURE:
1st Corinthians 9:19 | KJV
"For though I be free from all men, yet have I made myself servant unto all, that I might gain the more."
Despite who I am and what I may have going on in my life, Paul' strategy is encouraging us to become all things to Gods people in order to win the "some."
DECEMBER PRAYER:
This month, let us pray for clarity regarding what God deems as a priority in our lives, and in our homes so that His word and His work can continue to flow through us minus any inhibitions. I declare we will have the mindsets of relevance, substance, value, distinction, caliber, and bearing as we continue to reach those who are unreached.
Our attitudes towards people has a great effect on how we respond to and how we treat them. So, in our attempts to witness, futile obstacles can arise due to these attitudes. We fail to recognize the unique stamp God has placed on every individual He has created. The inability to move past these barriers causes strains turned frustrations which prevents witnessing from occurring. In observing these issues, we must place our focus and attention on fortifying relationships in a loving way, as God has commanded us to. Be sure to see, (conceptualize), those being witnessed to as individuals, not as the enemy. Respect their views with basic civility, listen, and empathize. This is becoming all things to all people, meaning you must be the one to place the decision in their hands after the conversation has ended.
God is calling us to be higher in our thoughts and in our actions.
