January 1, 2020 - G4H | Monthly Gospel

JANUARY SCRIPTURE:

John 15:16 |KJV

"You did not choose me, but I chose you, and I set you that you should go forth and bear fruit."

The Lord has intention and purpose for us which is why He clearly charges us to go and disciple to all the nations.

JANUARY PRAYER:

This month, let us pray for better understanding regarding our commission to go out and preach, to spread the good news, to witness for him to everyone. Past our emotions and opinions, give us the clarity and strength in understanding our job as witnessing and bearing fruit as we are commanded. Show us how to go forth and to share your word so that others will not perish. Satan strategy is defeated as we have the authority over darkness. For we now, that when people believe in Jesus, Satan loses!

It is so important for us as witnesses to understand that the more we hone in on Gods agenda for our lives that He can freely flow through us - our speaking - and into the lives if the unreached. And its not a difficult task at all nor one that requires extensive training. Your faith automatically qualifies you as a witness. How? Because you can share with others what the Lord has done for you and through, which makes you the perfect candidate to witness for the Lord. That is your testimony, your explanation of how you were once lost, and now found. Blind, and now you can see.

Be bold about sharing your experiences in the Lord with others, not just with people you know.

JANUARY THEME:

It's never too late to start witnessing

Have you developed an appetite for witnessing?
